6 years ago I lost my mum, best friend and at times my arch nemesis.

It was she that introduced me to you lovely lot.

I still can’t believe she’s not here but I’ve got used to her not being around, probably because I sound like her, act like her and as many often tell me look like her too. I swear her spirit kicks about…why else would a photo of her fall off the bookcase EVERY time I put something in front of it.

Don’t have much planned for today. Going to pay for my Wedding Cake and do the weekly shop before coming home to make a special meal for dad and I. Will light a candle for mum later too.

If you have any AB memories or stories of Nungate please feel free to share them with me here.

I really do. It’s true what they say. You don’t really know how much you miss something until it’s gone. But she’s where she needs to be and will always be in my heart.

Thank you for your kind words Campellking.

I miss the boundless joy of Saturday evenings.

Couldn't make the funeral but heard so much about it that I am sure she would have enjoyed it immensely.

Usual offering available if you need it Queenie.
