Just been for my booster jab and realised when I got home, they didn't give me a card or anything to say I've had it, or which one it was and the date etc.
Should they have done?

I didn't get a card.
I wasn't given anything. I just wrote the details on my original card.
They are a bit half hearted with the cards this time.
I took my original card with me showing the first two jabs and they put a sticker on that recording the booster

Just wondered if you ever need proof you've had it, I haven't got any.
Didn't even have an appointment.
Heard they were doing them at the local chemist so called in, gave my name and date of birth, and got it done.
I took my NHS Covid Pass and they took some info off that, so I expect they have put the info on the system.
I'll make a note of it myself on the back of the pass.
I had my third jab on tuesday, got to wait til May next year ( 6 months ) for my booster, they gave me a card with all the details on, date , batch no. etc.

Sparkles, why have you had 3 jabs?
Was one of them a booster?
Hi Barsel, I have an Autoimmune disease and take immunosuppressants. Anyone on immuno suppressants is offered 3 jabs and then a booster to top them up as we have very very low immunity .
Had ours on Wednesday. We were issued with a different card for the booster. When I asked why, I was informed that although it was also a Pfizer jab that the vaccine name had changed to Comirnaty. The new card says "My Covid-19 booster vaccine record card". More bleedin officious nonsense then, and another layer of expense and admin required. Wales.
i had it yesterday ... i got a card
Togo, I was told the same as you......Wales also.
I sent for an updated covid passport letter after having
the booster, but then realised it doesn't record the boosters, only the first and second doses. Oh well, got two copies now in case I forget where I put the first.
It's not on the app either. I guess they will have to start putting it on there eventually because for entry into most countries, vaccination is considered to be having had 2 jabs more than 14 days ago within the last year.
Pfizer/BioNTech make the vaccine but until earlier this year, the vaccine had no name but it is now called Comirnaty.

Sparkles, I see.
Thanks for all your answers.
It seems some have recognition of it and some don't.
As above, a booster jab does not appear on your "Covid Passport." That only records the first two. I think they will have to incorporate the third soon because some countries are already asking for proof of three jabs before you are allowed to enter:

I'm having mine a week Thursday early evening.
My sister in Canada has had two Aztrazenica vaccs earlier in the year, and walked into a pharmacy last week and had a top up of Moderna. Apparently, she can have two, so a bit different out there?
I had my booster last week and was given another card.
I had my booster in September and was given a little card. It hasn't appeared on the NHS website with the first two though.
I had my booster on Wednesday, got a card with name of jab and batch number on it, and it appeared on my NHS app on my phone, on Friday. Very efficient.
