We're having a BBQ.

Marinated salmon, Tikka King prawn skewers, sweet chilli pork belly slices and whatever else he unearths at the supermarket.

I'm so looking forward to a nice chilled Viognier - my first this week.

What about you gastronomes?

Sounds lovely, Tiggs. Curry is the food of the Gods.
Venison steaks with a red wine, red currant and juniper sauce with some leftover mash, roast butternut squash and runner beans.
you all seem to be great cooks - I probably have a bag of Smiths crisps with the wee salt bag.
Had southern fried chicken, chips n beans.
About to put 2 Waitrose chicken curries in oven. One Fiery chicken, & chicken tikka masala. Dont often shop there, but we do like their curries.
A selection of pepperoni and mozzarella on Ritz with lager.
Starters, a rum and mango juice with just a touch of maple syrup added to sweeten it slightly. Welsh lamb cutlets (rare) roasted with garlic and rosemary, young spuds, crushed on a fork, seasoned, chopped watercress added and a good EV olive oil, mushrooms with garlic and balsamic roasted off and a tommie split with some white pepper added before roasting alongside the mushroom. Wine, just a simple St Julia Malbec.....
Stuffed pepper and steak.
A Chinese should be delivered in about 15 minutes.
Oh, I have forgotten the raspberries, meringue and thick cream....along with a great Waitrose product - their Scottish raspberry coulis - (a lovely product).
I didn't know Prudie lived in Morecambe Bay.......I'll get my coat.
DTC....:-)
as in what I had for supper or Prudie's Chinese in Morecambe Bay, Aunt PG?

That sounds delicious, Fitzgerald, apart from the runner beans.

JJ, that's not very nutritious!

Mamya, the SFC from M&S is gorgeous in one of their sub rolls with crispy lettuce and BBQ sauce.

I've never tried those, Patsy, are they authentic...

Dougie, you are a flamboyant so and so...

Simple but elegant eh, DT?

Good honest grub, Tony.

Sounds like you've got the right idea, Prudie. Does your local Chinese do crabs claws?
something like that...the cooking and serving involved about 30 minutes, along with a little prep time as to chopping things - which I do as my afternoon tea is on the brew.
