Fantastic Freezer Feast...not!

Due to circumstances it was a freezer forage meal this evening to use things up.
It consisted of a pack of M&S katsu chicken tenders (possibly from a meal deal), two packs of microwave chips (no idea when or how they got in the freezer), and some peas.
Followed by a sticky toffee pud, again probably from a meal deal. No cream, ice cream, custard or yogurt.
And then a melatonin gummie.
I have no doubt everyone here had a better meal than that!

I’m sorry youve had a harrowing week pat, things turn out like that sometimes don’t they?
I can’t even say our meal was..err..interesting. Barely edible is nearer the mark.
Enjoy your curry if you manage to do it (my easy comfort thing is cheese and tomato on toast).
You need to go food shopping,Vagus.
Beef and black beans, veg and noodles here, followed by strawberries and cream.
Trout fillets (pan fried with some butter & almonds), fresh steamed beans with seaweed salt, and potato dauphinoise - all from Herr Lidl and all delicious. The quality of basic ingredients available from him and his pal Herr Aldi is quite something these days.
Shattered from decorating...well putting right the things the previous house owner messed up....I was looking forward to dinner.

Dave cooked a fantastic meal. It included French beans which I had to serve. Couldn't resist making Jenga piles with them. Dave stopped me as the rest was getting cold. But it looked as pretty as it tasted.
Chx Passanda, saag aloo and pilau rice.
Hey Dave what's going on ! ( there's Green stuff on that plate ) ;-

Looks like I'm that gob smacked I said it twice.
No gravy though, tony :)
Ooooooh
Takeaway curry for us tonight which we'll pick up on our way back to our house. I'm not unpacking cases until tomorrow.
Dave followed my instructions for the green stuff, Tony....steam with seaweed salt. I have to have something to arrange artistically on a plate.
I had a feeling that it was your idea, gness.
He had homegrown salad with ham and boiled eggs, I had tempura prawns then we had homegrown strawberries
I'm digging a Vindaloo out the freezer for OH, don't know what I'm having yet....
Indeed it was, Tony. I have a long history with seaweed. Love the stuff. Would have it sent to the UK having been picked here by a neighbour only when the moon was right.

Her son stopped her collecting it for me when she fell into the sea one night.
Fish tacos in Waterloo on the way back from Twickenham, which were very good, although with the amount of Guinness I’d had during the afternoon, I’d have eaten a scabby dog.
I have seaweed salt here, very good that it is.

Tonight, a breaded pork with chilli and coriander - along with a steamed sweetcorn 1/2 kernel, roasted tom - with white pepper, steamed green beans and asparagus and a mushroom mix to serve as a 'sauce' plus some homemade apple soss!
