Almost as good as a chip butty.
Cheese & onion and loads of lurpak
Not crisps alone. Nice to embellish a cheese sarnie though.
Oh dear how common, just poured me a vintage brandy along with vintage cheese and buttered crackers. Just thought before I settle down I'd have a look in to see who's still going on at it. :0)

Haven’t tried with cheese - may try now tho!
A crisp sandwich on its own? No, try adding crisps to a sandwich with a generous amount of ham in it, same with butter,
Now you are talking!
If you really must, please add Marmite on the bread, a little more respectful.
Question Author
Yep I like marmite!
>>> Almost as good as a chip butty

That's reminded me that it's age since I ordered a cheese sandwich and a portion of chips in a café, in order to make a cheese'n'chip buttie. Absolutely delicious!

Now I'm feeling really hungry ;-)
Never had one, nor have I ever been tempted.
And if you have beans on toast now and again, put Marmite on the toast, adds an extra kick to what can be a bit uninteresting and bland.

I read once that ridged crisps make the best butty.
Yes i love them.
Oh now we are talking the Michelin star sarnie with ridge crisps, the butter sinks into the ridges preventing them from falling out.
