Usually make an extra effort for our Saturday evening meal but due to a number of reasons I really can’t be bothered, so we’re having spicy bean burgers in oven bottom muffins, spicy wedges, and a tin of sweet corn.
And a slice of chocolate cake other half made this afternoon.. I washed up and did the buttercream filling, and the icing for the top.
I’d really like a ribeye steak or a Chinese takeaway :/

Baked chicken thighs in an oil, Dijon, chilli and maple syrup marinade, topped with a coriander, garlic and pepper crumb, french fries and then steamed pointed cabbage and peas.

Can I just say, MartinMillar I never heard of gravalax before, I had to google it, I thought it was some kind of laxative - I need to get out more (my hands are covering my red face ) ;)
Lazy leftovers for me...a sort of belly pork hash. Chopped up spicy belly pork cooked with mushrooms, shallots, chilli and garlic. A beaten egg stirred in, then topped with cheese.
Clotted cream and frozen raspberries after.
