It’s M&S classics No. 1 Bourgogne Chardonnay 2018, and is rather nice.
Will go perfectly with the ham, egg, chips and sweet corn currently under construction.
You popped a cork/unscrewed a top this evening?
Vagus we always have sweetcorn with ham -lovely. Tonight we are having grilled sole fillets with fondant potatoes and peas cooked with bacon. I think the nice Yellow Tail chardonnay I've just opened will go very nicely. I've got some Captain Morgans spiced rum for later as its really cold here and almost snowing .
All the Yellowtails are very nice .. they all have something that bit different. My favourite was the Malbec .. sadly I can no longer drink red wine ..8-(
19 Crimes Chardonnay (currently on offer at £7 in Tesco and Mozzies)for the Good Lady - she says it's the best Chardonnay she's ever had - and she's supped a few in her time.
Roku Gin & Tonic with slivers of fresh ginger for me before a beer afterwards.
Vagus // I tried the jammy red roo and hated it.
Dyou reckon the jam shed worth a go?//
its sweet almost like a port goes lovely with cheese and chocolate. Some say its nice cold from the fridge but that has never appealed to me. Its very easy to drink -too easy.

Yes, Jam Shed is pretty distinctive, is it not?
The best way to describe it is, it smells just like black currant jam, but although rather sweet, not cloyingly so.
I took advantage of Tesco’s current offer of 25% off six or more bottles of wine today, buying 16 assorted wines and effectively getting 4 for nowt.
I'm a bit conservative captain so prefer plain indian tonic water. It's actually a well rated gin, I bring it back from holidays there but you can get it in the UK at an inflated price. I have a display of 16 of the very distinctive dark green bottles in my dining room (all empty of course!).
I checked the reviews of Jam Shed on the Sainsbury's site. Someone did say it was like a marriage of wine and port. I think I'll try it rather than my usual Jammy Red when I get next weeks shop...or sooner.
16? that's dedication for you; beats my measly 5 Forest Gin ceramic bottles in our kitchen - but hey, that C word is coming so fingers crossed daughter still loves me.
