Sorry I meant to say by this Saturday
Are you classed as extremely vulnerable?
This was published on The Independent's website just a few hours ago:
https://www.independent.co.uk/extras/indybest/food-drink/supermarket-delivery-uk-tesco-asda-sainsburys-online-shopping-coronavirus-a9424346.html
(Scroll down for the availability of slots for each company)

This is from The Telegraph a couple of days ago:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/food-and-drink/features/best-online-grocery-shopping-sites-one-delivers-goods/

. . . or give these new service a try to search several supermarket websites in one go:
https://shoppingslot.co.uk/
I'm afraid it's just a case of registering with as many supermarkets as will deliver in your area. And then just keep trying. I think Tesco release new slots at midnight ! Iceland are good and release slots here at 11am. Good luck - I know the feeling.
I didn't know about those links above. They look helpful.
The best bet...if you are over 70...is Iceland.
My local Sainsbury's has slots all day Sunday ...or late Saturday at the earliest.
Oh...you could also look at deliveroo for same day...limited to Morrison's, M and S, and Co-op. Here in Plymouth anyway. You won't find a full range though.

I'm not classed as vulnerable and not over 70 but I live miles from any supermarkets and my car decided to throw a wobbly.
I have an important birthday party on Saturday
Keep checking. You never know of someone may drop out, but to be honest, you've probably left it too late. Can you get one of the slots when it's bagged and you pick it up?
You might have to get a taxi.
Question Author
You could be right there about the taxi
Question Author
Taxi it is then.
Thanks all

That's if I can get one
Have you tried the Co-op 'on demand'?

they deliver same day for free with £25 minimum spend, worth a try.

I've done it loads of times and I'm not on the vunerable list, depends on area tho, i suppose
^^^ The Co-op's 'On Demand' service is only available in a very few areas of the country.

Quote:
"The service is currently available in some areas of:
London
Bristol
Brighton
Manchester
Southampton
Bournemouth

The service will soon be available in more areas of Manchester and some areas of:
Leeds
Sheffield
Liverpool
Newcastle
Nottingham
Birmingham"

It might be worth trying local independent traders, as many of them have introduced (or already had) delivery services. For example, our local corner shop accepts orders over the phone for delivery in a day or two's time, with only a £10 minimum order and just a £1 delivery charge.
Oh ok, dont know where Bob lives.
Deliveroo will deliver food from M&S. Last week I had my delivery within 22 minutes. Fantastic service. Just download the Deliveroo App on to your mobile and type in M&S. You will have to register but it takes no time at all.
^^^ You need to be within the catchment area of one of these stores (which include franchised outlets at BP filling stations) in order to use the Deliveroo service from M&S:
http://asset1.marksandspencer.com/is/content/mands/images/1030_20200526_Deliveroo_SB-23456_Updated-store-Listpdf.pdf

Annoying though, there doesn't seem to be anything on the M&S website to define just how big a 'catchment area' actually is.
Tilly, are you sure it's Deliveroo? It doesn't work for me - can't find Marks and Spencer
