I’d never label myself as veggie but over the last couple of years we’ve eaten less and less meat, both for our healths sake and for the animals.
It’s got the the point where I don’t really relish a meat based meal. Having said that, we had rib eye steaks last Saturday and really enjoyed them. We also buy our local butchers home made sausages, and m&s ones, and enjoy them too. And my favourite meal of all time is a Sunday roast, whichever meat is being served (I don’t do roasts, too much of a faff for us two).
We can go literally weeks without eating or missing meat, but then enjoy something meaty which takes our fancy.
What about you Bednobs, are you veggie?

Banana ice cream (just bananas, blitzed and frozen) for afters, with a glug of passion fruit coulis (found at the back of the cupboard) on it.
Better go and shove the quiche in the oven and chop the salad.
OMG no, i'd never eat anything!
The kids had beans and cheese on toast, I’m having a giant prawn cocktail and then we are all having summer fruits (frozen ones), ice cream and squirty cream sprinkled with white chocolate buttons.
Ha. I'm having the remains of a Waitrose Balsamic Onion and Cheddar Tart. Is that the same?
Chipolatas cooked with aubergine, onions and tomatoes. Maybe some cauli/broccoli rice. A few squares of lindt 90%...or a flourless chocolate brownie. ( really chocolaty and fudgy)
Chicken, bacon and avocado salad. We got a takeaway, so everyone has something different. We never do "afters".
Chicken curry and chips.
Prawn salad with jersey royals,
Mac Cheese and huge plate of mixed green veg. Savoy cabbage, brocolli, and green beans.

Homemade lasagne with lettuce frm the garden and a nice red wine.
