My wife has hinted that she would like a soup maker.

Can anyone personally recommend one that is not extortionately expensive, simple to use and one where ingredients sticking is not a problem?

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

A small tip if indeed you do go for one MGW14
Put a little stock in the base before adding your ingredients stops anything sticking and it leaves the maker very easy to clean
actually MW, those electric wands are well worth their money and this is one of my favourite kitchen gadgets that can double up as other things for purees, fruit syrups and the rest, even an extra colander....
