Does anyone know the recommended time to reheat a xmas pudding in the microwave. We don't want to spend hours boiling it as it's an old one so we just want to use it up.
Can anyone help?
Cheers

By the way, it's an 800 watt microwave :0)
It might depend upon how big the pudding is but this site says you should use medium power for 8 to 10 minutes:

Respect the pudding. Don't m/wave.

Slice the leftovers into even, thin pieces, melt some butter in a fry pan and gently warm the puding through over a medium heat. This will give a much nicer result. Serve with the usual extras. My Dad use to do this for Boxing Day breakfast!

Thanks guys, we nuked it in the microwave in the end. 10 mins was long enough... Thanks Buenchico.
Nickmo, might have taken your suggestion if it was a really special pudding, but we wanted to set it alight too so that wouldn't have worked if we'd cut it into bits!
