Has anyone made this and if so which recipe did you use?
I’ve just made Jamie Oliver’s version and nice as it is, I’d like to try a difference one next time.
EcclesCake used to make it regularly but unfortunately she never did give me her recipe for it :(

Have you made that one Danny?
Yes, but with tinned anchovies, not fresh.
Rocket gives a more tangier taste than basil
Question Author
I don’t think I’ve ever seen fresh anchovies to be honest, I’ve only ever had tinned ones.
Not a fan of rocket myself, the basil surprised me by the sweet smell it gave out when I hand chopped it, I do love basil.
If I do make some variation of it again, I’m just going to chuck it all in the blender and pulse it, took me ages to finely chop it all.
Thanks Danny.
I much prefer the Canary Island version, 'Mojo Verde' using coriander and cumin, garlic, olive oil and white wine vinegar .
It is called Mojo de perejil if using parsley leaves (whole bunch) or Mojo de cilantro with Coriander.
Other variations of Mojo sauce use oranges or dried red chillie and even peeled almonds. All are blitzed in a processor and all use one whole bulb of garlic.
