Friday. 11.2°C outside this morning, but it feels cooler. I had a wee walk along the lane, the Severn Vale looks beautiful in the light of the full moon.
I'm on the canal today, and being treated to dinner at my mate's house when we get back. His wife is a good cook, their daughter is visiting, so I will meet her for the first time.
It's supposed to be hot and sunny, so we should be busy. I went down and checked the ice cream freezer and it's full.
Have a happy day everyone.

Morning Boaty ive had a long night, just got back from hospital. My partner Jens blood sugar levels have been very high for last couple of days, she went easter shopping with her mum yesterday, they just got home before me, but Jen was leaning against her mums car. Anyway to cut long story short I decided to call 999 at 7pm yesterday and Ive left her in the capable hands of intensive care units doctors and nurses. She wasnt happy with 999 call but Ive been there before, the initial thoughts are that she has an infection of some sort, but until they do tests overnight they will not know.

Morning tony. Tat must be very worrying for you. I hope the medics can sort it out quickly.
yes just put her on saline drip at the moment and given her some insulin as she is diabetic, but its no where near as serious as last September when she had kidney failure, that was scary.
Question Author
Kidney failure is indeed serious and very worrying.
And its called good Friday lol, I know I will not sleep so pointless me trying. Will call her family at reasonable hour to let them know after I have some more info after consultants rounds this morning.
Question Author
I went through similar with my Vera, so I know what you're going through mate.
It is but she pulled through that and dont think its anything like as serious this time, but obviously she needs medical attention otherwise she would not be taking up a hospital bed at the moment. You do see some life in hospital though good and bad, witnessed it again tonight.
morning Boaty xx Tony xx oh dear..you did the right thing ..she will be getting stress release insulin too so will need a wee careful eye kept on for a bit..
