Every other human activity seems to have its on-line forum, but I'm finding it hard to locate a vegetarian forum.

Apart from the smart answers, any ideas?

There's probably a subreddit for vegetarians, if nothing else:

I'm vegetarian. Why don't we start our own forum?
There's loads.

I managed a veggie diet before I got the internet.

ummm ("There's loads. ")

Where?

Yeah, and me, I've been a vegetarian for 38 years, but now want to talk to fellows about getting vegetarian food delivered. Anyway, you probably know all about that as well...

bainbrig, google "vegetarian forums" there are loads
The BBC do veggie recipes. Just go to BBC.com/food

woof: no there aren't. I've been googling for the past 30-40 minutes.

Mamya: thanks, the Happycow link looks promising.

Wolf. Wiltshire fine foods don't really live up to their name. One of their dishes, for example, is omelette, chips and peas - it comes FROZEN and you have to microwave it prior to throwing it in the bin.

OK but you can get ready meals delivered from Tesco. Or other supermarkets!

Yes, I've tried cookfoods - not bad, but not as good as they could be! I mean, I could devise a menu of many items that are vegetarian, and capable of being frozen/reheated. Have a look at the cookfood list - I tried them last year, and they aren't great. But thanks for the link, I appreciate your effort.

Oakhouse - just got their brochure this morning. Lovely 80 page A4 4-colour glossy brochure, packed with ready meals.

Of which only 13 are vegetarian, and most of them are of the lasagne-type, i.e. a bit of pasta and some cheese. Of their Indian/Mexican section, not ONE is vegetarian! All bloody (literally) animal products.

There is a HUGE market for some entrepreneur to make a fortune by setting up such an enterprise, I am sure.

Try "meals on wheels" BB.
Do you like vegan food BB? Maybe you could try a vegan box, it seems there is a lot more to offer under the title "Vegan"

Question Author
Thanks spath but look at the actual menus first. (Oakwood I have dealt with, also cookfoods). Allplants don't look bad, and I'll probably give them a go. Most which have 'vegetarian options' are like those ordinary restaurants which tag a couple of vegetarian dishes on the end, for nutters like us, which isn't really good enough.

"Try "meals on wheels" BB.". Some sort of retro joke?
