Eating A Decent Diet.

I really don't enjoy any food very much at all, so I am struggling to get the right nutrients into my system.

For fruit, I like grapes, melons and apples, and that's about it, and I am not fond of any veg at all.

Before I bite the bullet and simply make myself eat more veg and so on, is there any easy way to get the good stuff into me, without eating meals I really don't enjoy?

Supplements?
Do you enjoy soups, Andy?
Smoothies for fruit and soups for vegetables?
What *do* you like?
Apples are good and you can juice them with vegetables of your choice.
You don't find food pleasurable Andy?
I would suggest a pureed vegetable soup but add fried lardons to give it a salty meaty kick
Cauliflower and Stilton soup is lush and doesn’t even taste of cauliflower
What about Stirfrys you can get a ton of fruit and veg into you with those and you can disguise it to taste of almost anything you like :) x
Could you fortify your food with some veg rather than eating them as a side?

For example. Add Onions, carrots, courgettes, broccoli to shepherds pie - mashed potatoe and cheese on top, I cant imagine not enjoying it!

Leeks, carrot and some mushrooms in a cheese sauce over pasta?

Mushroom and tomatoe omelette with chips?
take a multivit and eat what you like
and get something that provides Vitamin D until the sun resumes providing enough UVB radiation for your skin to make its own.

We were talking about this earlier, for Mrs B, who is still not eating properly and went back into Hospital Friday evening.
Holland and Barrett do various supplements, and some very good chocolate cookies which are loaded with supplements
Healthspan or Simply Supplements on line. Fruit juice?
Make yourself some lovely soups Andy. You can make a batch and freeze them in portions. Make sure you eat a banana a day, get some lovely wholemeal rolls to eat with your soup, make some porridge every morning with soya milk and put some fresh berries on top. Develop a taste for avocados.........
