Use this Belgium coffee pot?

Hubby bought me this for our wedding anniversary, but there are no instructions, anyone ever used one?

It’s possibly a Spanish or Turkish design. On mine you load coffee into the filter part, after putting enough water for X amount of cups in the lower half. Lock the top on and boil. The boiling water is directed up and filtered back through the coffee into the lower half.

Lol thanks it does have a basket in it I was wondering if I put coffee in that as a filter type thing
It looks like you just put ground coffee in the top and pour the water on it so that it filters through.

Thanks Malagabob looks like I will have to play with it
Put a filter in the basket, then fill with coffee, Pour boiling water over it and BOOM, you've made coffee and it's stored in the copper pot.
spath that is totally not how it works!

Malagabob is correct
Doubt it as that's how an espresso works.
if that was the case you'd put it on the stove and it'd be called a copper espresso maker.
