I wonder what their thoughts are about the animal kingdom. Nearly all meat eating animals kill and eat other animals. Do vegans have a view on this or do they just pretend in does not happen

I think they probably accept that that is nature in the wild, but they themselves can eat other things.
Animals eat anumials, but they don't farm them.
Oops typo! ^^^
Maydup - ants farm aphids.
Yes ,it is growing animals specifically to kill them for meat that they object to.
I’m a vegetarian, and I never knew that animals ate other animals.

I thought they were vegans.

Not quite sure where they farm wild boar, shark, swordfish, nearly all fish, horse, loads of shellfish, then there are many birds etc etc
No, not many birds. One or two pigeons, maybe.
New Forest ponies have been sold for food via France.
i have a friend who's a vegan. I never realised. until he screamed it at me from a range of 6 inches......
Cruel animals, not giving other animals a decent life by farming them and so protecting them from the perils in the wild. Ought not be allowed, that's abuse that is.
Whilst I am not a vegetarian, I must admit that I think that we eat far too much meat. I don't believe that it's wrong to kill animals to eat, because that's what animals do to each other. I think we should eat less meat and be prepared to pay more for it and that all animals should at least be allowed to live a natural life before being eaten instead of being 'grown' in factory conditions. This would increase the price of meat, but if we ate only a small amount and less often it wouldn't affect our household budgets too much. Tough on some meat producers, I agree.
are you asking about vegans or vegetarians?
I think we should only eat meat that has been reared in the UK.
It’s one thing to farm animals. But, quite another to treat them inhumanly. For instance, free range chickens rather than cage breeding then slaughtered.
Agree Ratter!
That might cause problems when getting trade agreements. Maybe better to insist on equal or better animal farming standards from those exporting to the UK than we practice here.
They enjoy it (being slaughtered that is). Keeps ‘em on their toes.
You could always give it a try bainbrig.
