I keep them in the pantry
Room temperature.
Not in the fridge.
Pantry.
I keep mine in the fridge and try to remember to take them out before I need to use them. They are not in a fridge on the market stall where I buy them though.

It's just tidier to keep them in the fridge.
Fridge
Cool cupboard.
Fridge, because the house is often quite warm.
Fridge.
As I live in the UK I keep them outside of the fridge. One could use up fridge space keeping them there if desired though.
We have two fridges (yes, I know!)....one at 3 to 5C for things that need to be stored cold to prevent going off quickly and one at about 10 to 12C, for things that are better kept cool...eggs, fruit, veg etc and lots of white wine, beer, cider ready for immediate drinking. Eggs last longer if kept cool...but it depends how often you want to buy them and how soon you'll use them.
if i buy a dozen I put 6 in the fridge and 6 in the kitchen, ill use the 6 in the kitchen first.
Kitchen, which is probably warm room temp.
I ignore use by/eat by dates on them, sometimes they’re quite over by the time I eat them and I’ve not died yet as a result.

Intetesting mix of fridge and room temp
fridge but only because they would end up on the floor if I kept them on the worktop and I have no room in cupboards
I've always kept mine in the fridge.
Question Author
Does anyone else check if they’re gone off by seeing if they float?
Yesterday, I put three eggs into a pan of water and one floated. I replaced it with a fresher egg.
No.
