I'm not an Aldi shopper but the local store is near my doctor's surgery. I have broken my journey home by a visit to Aldi a few times lately and have found that some of their food is really good.

I bought fleece sleep suits for babies - reduced from £9 to 90p. I plan to use them to keep the cats cosy this winter.

Patsy, they're surprisingly nice for the price. They do a really nice Magnum type ice cream too. I'll see if I can find a link.

Their cones are good but not a patch on their NZ Pinot Gris.
