Do you not like Country Life? Not spreadable but in pack
Have you tried farm shops local to you?
We love Ballyrashane but I have only seen in Ni.
When it comes to butter the only one I buy is Lurpak slightly salted. I won't have any other kind in the house.
Same here JD. We used to have Country Life.
I'm also Lurpak fan.

1rovert - you could try making your own. It looks pretty simple.

# Tilly2, Thanks for that, I've sent for some, but watch out if it's no good. ha ha.

Everyone else thank you for answering, I have tried all of those suggested, but streight from the farm, has got to be worth trying.
It's very expensive butter, 1rovert. I do hope you like it.
old fashioned cow?
Who? Me?
Blimey, I made Jackdaw laugh!
I use Benecol (buttery taste), as I have to watch my cholesterol.
Tastes fine to me and spreads easy too.
You have to get full cream natural butter NOT a spreadable . As a child we only ever had Danish Lurpack in the house. Its still very good, but I now prefer the butter with salt crystals .
