It is Global Scouse Day. So I will be serving big bowls of it. There will be no room for dessert.l
He is having chicken, chorizo pasta
I am having lobster
They're having beans and cheese on toast (because they were supposed to be coming in at different times), I'm having cheesy, mushroomy, hammy mess (it's a kind of badly done omelette that looks awful but is lush - I wouldn't impose it on the others).
Beef Olives and Mash and veg.
Not sure about a pudding. May do Angel Delight and Fruit
BBQ sauce glazed chicken, Cajun potato wedges and salad.

Strawberries in February????
Chicken in the slow cooker with a side salad.
"I'm having cheesy, mushroomy, hammy mess (it's a kind of badly done omelette that looks awful but is lush" I have this most Sunday mornings ;)

We're having fish and chips from the chippy, tonight. No cooking going on here as I've no food in.
omelette mess - is something i have quite often just without the mushrooms

I'm in comfort food mode but i don't have the patience to cook, so it will be freezer pot luck, i'm hoping there is some ragu in there so all i have to do is cook some pasta and warm it up
Pea and ham soup on the go for lunch.
Something with the chicken I've taken out of the freezer for dinner.

Whatever we have will be something we have in already, could be black coffee by Friday!
Later, we are having beef casserole with roast potatoes or mash.
I think I might do scampi and chips.
Or maybe a chilli. Hmmmmm
Chicken thighs and sprouts.

Just had a lovely cup of Bovril with my boring lunch of pastrami and salad.
i really want something like roast beef with all the trimmings

or a big bowl of dahl with roti

or meatballs in onion gravy with mash and green beans


i have green beans
Parsnip soup for lunch, splash of coriander, croutons and really good olive oil to finish it.

Dinner cous-cous with scallops and shrimp, cherry toms/shallots/sweet long red pepper/chilli/lemon and juice.......
Chilli and basmati rice. Mrs will make sure I'll be eating salad with it :-(
We finished off the spicy butternut squash soup for lunch, followed by fruit.
Later we'll be having roast portobello mushrooms with a crunchy breadcrumb and sliced almond topping, with a fried egg sitting precariously on top. With that we'll have corn on the cob and homemade sweet potato chips.
Not cooking anything, putting a corned beef hash into the microwave !
I haven't made corned beef hash since I can't remember when, takes me back to my childhood, I love the stuff.
FAO Queen of mean - what do you call beef olives, growing up mother made them out of frying steak bashed out and cut into strips wrapped rounds seasoned minced then stewed.
But over here in NI they are huge things a complete steak wrapped round stuffing - don't like them anyway near as much as my mothers
