Is there any point of making yourself sick over£1.65? Lol

Taste it and decide.Probably OK.
Throw it or risk food poisoning?

Your choice.
Food poisoning? I don't think so.
It may not taste so good, but if it's still sealed there should be no danger

Well it was sealed, but it was over 6 years old so I have chucked it. It smelt good and beery when I opened it but looked really dark. Best not to risk it. I'll treat myself to a fresh bottle to replace it!
The crucial question was ‘what beer’, I have some Imperial Stout from 1973 which ‘should’ still be drinkable.

Exactly Jah, it was nice beer but readily available locally.
Only last week I tipped a large bottle of Becks down the sink - found it in the back of a cupboard with best before some date in 2013. Mind you it smelt OK!
I'm crying here
At least try it before tipping it down the sink.
Next time, offer it to other ABers...;-)
SACRILEGE !!!!!

LOL! Sorry if I've wasted good (6 year old) beer, but I have opened a bottle of red wine instead.
