Can I use the patches if I only have half of my thyroid?? I take a pill each day to counteract the the other half of my thyroid. Since this patch revs up the metabolism will it affect my thyroid in any way. Is it safe to take because of it?

Hmmmm....a quick Google and all I can gather is that they are used for weight loss. On that basis, I wouldn't touch them with a barge poll.
Reduce your starchy carbs( potatoes, bread, rice, pasta, sugary stuff), eat unprocessed meat, veg, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy...and have a chat with your doctor.

They are supposed to raise metabolism...I too fail to see how.
