be accurate with the measurements.. I have had one a few years and use it loads, have made lots of nice variations too
Make bread ?

Cheese, tomato, & garlic loaf is nice. But experiment. Olive is nice too.

I use this book...
Go to The Works cheapo bookshop to get a copy of "Getting the best from your breadmaker" (or similar)....usually under two quid.
Yes you can. I buy Wrights Ciabatta and Foccacia mixes and use the dough setting in my breadmaker for those. I turn the dough out onto an oiled tray and bake in the oven.
after a bit of use you will get a feel for it and attempt variations.. favs of mine are cheese and onion, cheese and sun dried toms , walnut and date, cinnamon, and fruit loaf.. hot x bun loaf is nice too..
can also do pizza dough !
most supermarkets sell wee packs of ready to use breads.. saves the weighing out and buying yeast/dried milk/ etc these are not bad but I prefer to do it from scratch
my advice if is it has a timer to delay starting, dont set it to come on overnight so you have fresh bread in the morning (unless you want to e woken to a noise a la baby seal cubs being clubbed to death(

Too easy
it is !!
your bread comes out a weird shape. And with a hole in the middle where the paddle was
Has yours a dough only function Sam?
I use the white bread setting but put about 1/3 of a cup of seeds in. If you are going to use sesame seeds, lightly toast them first or they won't taste of anything
mine is a uniform loaf shape..but there will be a small hole underneath where the paddle was... no big deal...
same with poppy seed ^^
