We're having a sort of wok chicken curry / stirfry with poppadoms.

I'm just having a pot of tea in M&S atm and I see that their extra thick chocolatey biscuits are half price, so I might pop down and get some just now.

Im coming to stay with you, Shoota. I think the ready made version is safer all round, NoM and particularly in your condition. However, if Junior fails to put in an appearance on time, I am sure I can send you some "BM's original smelling salts" - little un will be outta there quicker than a rat up a drainpipe........

I was lazy last night and ordered in a curry to help me sweat away man flu. So its reheated curry.

Which may be unfortunate given that it appears I have a blocked loo.
He is having chicken in lemon and garlic sauce with roasted potatoes and onions
I am having king prawns and scallops in butter and garlic
Boiled bacon and cabbage. It's usually something simple on a Monday. He views Mondays like he's still a party animal.

I'll cook some special egg fried rice for his lunch tomorrow. Couldn't bare doing it last night I was so full up after dinner.
cold leftover beef..mash n pickles
Oooo he loves boiled bacon and cabbage - I did that last week for him and then made soup out of the stock he had a big bowl yesterday and i froze the rest.
Cold roast beef in yorkies latheted with stout gravy
I actually fancy boiled bacon and cabbage now. With lots of creamy mash. Proper comfort food.
Islay - I never thought of using the stock for soup..doh! We drink a glass of it with dinner..

I have mine with whole steamed spuds and lots and lots of butter.
lol, I always use boiling liquid for stock. It's great. I freeze it in chinese takeaway containers.
Really ummmmm? It makes fantastic pea and ham soup and really anything else too.
I have found a new butcher and got a brilliant deal of two bacon joints for a £10 and they are huge!
Bangers and mash here.....maybe with roasted-down onions and a pea purée as well and some steam veg.....
Weird. Pea and ham soup on the menu.
That was to Islay...
Yaaay. Its his favourite along with stilton and broccoli!
I like that too...and spicy carrot.

Hmmmn, cold beef and pickles sound rather tasty...
How organised are you all, it's usually a case here of around 5 we'll start thinking about it! Last night I had one of the seriously cheap sirloins from Morrisons, it was brilliant, so tender. I think I paid about a fiver for two, they've been in the freezer since summer, waiting to be barbecued.
I'm having a roast beef sandwich (leftovers from yesterday, nice and pink) made with soft white bread and lashings of horseradish. Can't wait.
Add tomatoes, Prudie, and that's my fav sandwich :-)
Prudie

"made with soft white bread and lashings of horseradish. Can't wait."

Particularly impatient for the "lashings."
