Spatula
Fish slice
Egg slice is a term for the same thing.
I call it a fish slice
OK Mamya, but when I worked in kitchens they were called different things because they were different things

^That looks like the one that chuck norris probably uses cooking pterodactyl eggs in a volcano
I agree we all use terms loosely, I just say spatula but then am a simple home cook.
My daughter couldn't say it when she was small and called it a 'petula'.
Top world class chefs such as Gordan, Heston and all the other ones call it by it's professional name "Spatula"

I would never dream of using a cheese slice on my eggs but would happily use it on my cheee.....Wait a minute, whathehellisacheesesliceusedfor???
Manonfire how do you know thats what GR and HB call it?
A fish slice? I suppose you could use all of them, i have a cake slicer which looks the same
Islay because i've worked with them at gr taste of christmas at London's Excel Centre a few years back
Lol of course you did!!!
funny, a spatula to me is nealry always made of plastic, curved (so not good for getting eggs out) and has no holes in - unlike a fish slice (never heard of egg slice)
Prudie, just exactly the same as your egg slice - the holes allow for fluid to run off. I agree spatuals are what i use around bowls to scrape out.
In that case manonfire, I must know you as I did work at that show and Heston didn't cook, he just spoke.
Oh BOOM Eccles!!!
