Defrosted Sausages

Hi All. I'd taken a bag of Sausages out of the freezer (Now defrosted) and forgot about them, too many to cook for one sitting how long will they keep for in the fridge?

cook all of them, then let some cool and stick in fridge and have sausage butty for lunch x

Good thinking Alba, there's 20 of them, I'll end up looking like a sausage.

I agree....better to cook them all, then refrigerate the cold uneaten ones ( I prefer sausages cold in a sandwich).

You can freeze cooked ones and then thaw or microwave as required. Otherwise make a sausage and bean casserole and freeze that for a quick and easy meal. Btw it's fine to freeze previously frozen foods which have been cooked.

oh granny!! I'll need to introduce you to Mr Alba - this man doesn't do cold sausages, cold sausage rolls either when I come to think of it.
Honestly, he don't know what he's missing!

I did not know you could freeze them once cooked, that's what I'll do.

this is the same man who doesn't like chicken 'on the bone' but at xmas time will quite happily nibble away at chicken wings and other snacks.

He's also available for pantos if anyone wants him....

All sorted and cooked, five scrammed five in fridge, ten in freezer for when Alba and Fluff call around to share :-) I too do like a cold sausage sarnie good idea's all round.

Cook them all. The ones you want to keep, wrap tightly in clingfilm, I would wrap them in twos, then store in the fridge in an airtight container.
