...fancy fish cakes, peas and chunky oven chips. Followed by a bramley apple tart courtesy of an m&s meal deal, and some strawberries, although I'm not sure about the strawberries, is it too early for nice strawbs, even foreign ones?
What I'd actually like is a Chinese takeaway, lots of different dishes including hot and sour soup, a huge chop suey roll, prawn fu young, etc.
What are you having, but what would you actually really like?

Sea bass cooked en paupiette with romesco sauce and roasted mediterranian veg. Again....it's becoming a tad too habitual but we both enjoy it so, perhaps, I should overlook the frequency.

Tomorrow will be roast chicken, Veg medley, roast spuds and a sherry gravy. Pud probably a choc fondant.

The last Chinese meal we had was massively disappointing.

I would/do avoid all berries out of season, overpriced and underflavoured in my experience.
Just some salt and pepper squid with a sweet chilli dip - I don't want much as I went out for lunch. I might have a cooking evening and do some curry for the freezer though. No alcohol as am going to stay with a boozy friend in Devon tomorrow so I`m saving myself.
Slow cooked braised steak with lots of onions, boiled tiny potatoes and cauli.

Dinner this evening is in a Restaurant in Whitstable.
Pan fried calves liver with stir fried beetroot, carrot, onions and green chilli.
Having chicken breasts wrapped in bacon and topped with cheese , new potatoes, green beans and grilled tomatoes. Would have like an Indian takeaway tbh as an not in cooking mood.

I've never had sea bass, I really ought to give it a go.
The Chinese I'm hankering after is from our local takeaway before it was taken over, it'll never be the same :(
Ooh SJ, why save yourself, life's too short ;)
Yum yum mamy!
Oh oh oh, Danny I love liver, where are you and can I come?
A nice restaurant Balders, or just an average one?
I'm not in a cooking mood either Smow, I'm more just in a mood...hitting the g&t and red wine in the hope of feeling more chilled and less moody.
Sounds good to me ethandron x
I'm been totally lazy ,(came back today after visit to brother )and having fish and chips x
Wow all them sound delicious, I haven't being able to walk to tesco... so for me its a frozen peperami pizza type thing. I do have some frisps though and a few ginger-nuts.... and some green stuff in the fridge, which could only be identified by a Doctor of science ;-)
Was going to be a lasagne .... and home made chips in the halogen. Took some magazines and cake to a neighbour and she said ... have you got a minute? Fatal, was on my way to buy spuds, by the time I got out I ended up buying chips from the chippy.
Frisps & ginger nuts lol!
I now want a chippy tea!
So do I, Mamya. :-)

However we are having Wild Atlantic salmon, pasta, pesto, pine nuts, mange tout and green beans.....which is a bit healthier, I hope.

Mind you, your slow braised steak sounds nice.
Mamya - you have that, I'll have your braised steak instead of my pizza :-)
Can't beat it can you mamya, mallys had fish & chips ... fabulous x
'Frisps and ginger nuts' should be the name of a band ;-)
Oooh a swap party, do we all throw our forks in a bowl in the centre of the table?
Hubby is having chicken kiev to honour the Eurovision tonight with chunky chips, to follow he is having profiteroles.
I am having thick vegetable and chicken homemade soup with olive flat bread.
