Bought some almond butter the other day out of pure curiosity, expecting it to taste like runny marzipan. It doesn't, but I still like it. I am now looking for savoury recipes including almond butter. Recipes for sweet stuff including it are everywhere, but I haven't got a sweet tooth. I'd prefer recipes with UK rather than US measures.

You can basically use it exactly the same as peanut butter, so you could make a satay sauce with it, or a dip.
Stir it into pureed soups for extra protein; the almond flavor is especially nice with orange vegetables, like butternut squash, carrots and sweet potatoes.
