We don't often eat take-away or fast food but on occasions, when we do, we eat Subway or McDonalds or the good old fish and chips, burger king as a last resort.
Would never eat KFC

So your options are: Subway, McDonalds, Burger king, KFC or fish and chips.

Hmmm, while I quite like fish and chips I'm not a fan of squidged chips though, buying them and eating on the seafront is different to eating them at home.

Every now and then I fancy a Big Mac, but really prefer a Big King.

KFC on the motorway, I'll have a twister.

Rarely have an Indian takeaway as I prefer a thali and none of the local takeaways offer it as a takeaway.

Chinese, having had a couple of poor experiences recently (in the past year or so) from local takeaways I'm going to stick to cooking my own.

Pretty sure I've never had a Subway, I have uneasy feelings about their sourcing.

Chinese,Indian then fish n chips is my choice.
kfc
A meat ball sub for me - yum !
The only 'take-away' we ever eat is from an extremely good, local fish & chip restaurant (it is a restaurant, not a caff!) and we've only done that twice in 2 years. Never had anything from Subway, once was forced to eat at McDonalds years ago - so no thanks. Burger King produced the worst meal I can ever remember forcing down (in USA at the time) and a neighbour had a leaving party for which he bought in KFC. I would not by choice eat anything from any of these ever again - and like Mary Berry I have never ordered a take-away pizza.
Indian every time. Chicken and fish pokoras for starters hmmm :-)

We go to McDonalds after swimming.

We have a new KFC in town. Ate there once and it was horrible, never again.

Wouldn't touch McDonalds or Subway anywhere.
Burger King or Fish and Chips based on local suppliers.
None of those, takeaway for me means a choice from Indian Chinese Pizza or kebab.

Oops, missed out KFC ^^^^ they should be in the top line.
Haven't had a take-away in about 20 years...if we want food without the prep/cooking etc, we have a choice from Waitrose's chilled meals.

Well said Ginge, showing a bit of Class there ;o)
I don't let some random bloke on the www. choose my favourite take-away, Arksided. (plus I was picking my horses out and never bothered with the rest of the Q)
from that list fish 'n' chips...but not a fan of takeaway food !
That sounds delicious Exiled ! I wish we could find a good Fish and Chip restaurant here. Mmmmmm, I really fancy a Plaice and Chips now. With bread and butter and a cup of tea. Do you still drink tea with it ?
And after reading the rest of the thread ... seems most have ignored the choices.
Well I'm gonna lose sleep over it.
Of those, McD sausage and egg muffin but only when I'm in the Far East as it's a quick and cheap place to get something to eat when I wake up at stupid o clock. Otherwise, fish and chips but only when I eat them by the road above Saunton Beach. Wouldn't have any of the others.
Chicken kebab and chips!
From the options - Fish & Chips.
Of the choices given it'd be McD every time, I don't think there's anything on their menu I don't like but I especially love the sausage and egg mcmuffin, and a Big Mac always hits the spot.
On the rare occasion we have had fish and chips at various chppies, I'm always disappointed with the fish..too much batter, too greasy, far too little fish. So we don't bother.
My favourite takeaway is Chinese though, well, it would be if I could find a decent one now that our local one has changed hands and isn't a patch on what it used to be.
KFC and BK just don't do it for me at all. Subway I always enjoy but they're very messy to eat.
