A stalk of sprouts with the tops on, was £1.50 on our market last week. All stalls charging £1.80 today. (Great Yarmouth)

Is it true they are 2 for £1 in the south?

I know some of you wouldn't give me tuppence for a stalk of sprouts! But i am curious to know whether mine are the dearest in the country!

Just checked Tesco (North West) - £1 a stalk.

2 for a £ in the south? Things are usually more expensive there aren't they?

Proper southerners are so wealthy they don't bother looking at the price.......I mean why would you?
