White Cake Frosting

Hi. I want to make snowman cupcakes for Christmas, I need a white frosting that's good for piping but that also sets quite hard.
Any ideas?

Basic royal icing sounds perfect for your needs, but is prone to breaking whilst piping, in windy weather.
