Is it normal for nectarines to have a dark red patch inside.......I just ate 3 and all of them had random red patches inside them. Mainly the Orangey colour though. I'm not talking about the skin........I know they are mainly Red on the skin.

There are so many varieties , some have different coloured flesh - so not surprising there is sometimes a mix.

As long as they taste good.
