On Thursday, I made some Carrot and Coriander soup. I overdid it with the ground coriander as there was a lot of it after I had finished grinding the seeds.

It made my eyeballs sweat!

I'll do my best Tilly, I just do it - serves about 4 and I freeze any unused helpings. Cut heavy green bits and roots off leeks (2 large or 3 small), remove outer layer, wash any grit out, cut lengthways, turn onto cut surface and cut lengthways again, then chop across into slices about half an inch wide. Hi Tilly - friend was talking about soup at the beginning of week so I made my vegetable soup and sent her a pot.

Thank you, shoota.

Broth is really another name for Stock, made by boiling bones etc - however it has also become synonymous with soup as a sort of soup often with chunks of veg etc, within.
Orbiter - don't know.
Oh Mamy has given you an answer
You're right that seafood does lent itself well to a Bisque or Chowder but it doesn't have to be an ingredient.
I think trying to narrow these terms down is a little pointless because as time moves on things shift.

A bit like saying, what is a sandwich - when I was a child it was two slices of bread with a filling, now the choice is endless.
