Due to me being a bit of an idiot I have managed to orders shed load of salad stuff.....to add to the salad stuff I already have.

Frustratingly I have ended up with a fridge containing at least four cucumbers, four peppers, two bags of leaves and there are two punnets of tomatoes on the windowsill.

To make things worse there is only me to eat it and I prefer more interesting salads and refuse to go shopping for extras as it will just be adding to the food mountain.

I can see some gazpacho and avocado & cucumber soup on the horizon.

What the hell I'm going to do with two bags of leaves is a mystery though :-(

A supply of salsa for the winter?

I would go down the route were it not for the fact that the leaves are mixed cours and when blitzed I fear it will go a very unappetising shade of nappy ochre:-(

what leaves have you got?
eccles...leaves are the basis of a salad,to which you can add a multitude of ingredients to make it interesting and tasty...fruit,nuts,crispy bacon, chicken ,pearl potaotes, raw carrots,mushrooms....the list goes on and on.I was given a Morrisons monthly brochure the other day which contained a load of salad recipes which I intend to try...not really a salad person but they have inspired me .
A couple of lucky rabbits maybe ?

Boxtops I've already made over a litre of tomatillo salsa due to my ordering malfunction :-(

Griddled or braised little gem I quite like, the thought of doing similar with mixed baby leaves doesn't really float my boat.

I suspect it will become expensive chicken treats!
Sorry Eccles..was Asda`s monthly.

Thanks for the challenge Humber, I flippin' hate having to identify leaves ;-)

It looks like I have rocket, spinach, two different mustards, some baby bright lights chard and the odd bit of mâché.

Kloof, I'm trying to avoid shopping for stuff to make what I have more interesting as there is only me to eat it and I don't want my food mountain to get any worse. I only eat one meal a day and that is frequently eaten out.
Know anyone with rabbits?

Oh right...but maybe you could eat at home, just buy enough stuff to use up your leaves, tomatoes etc.Ask a friend to come and join you ,show off your culinary skill!!!
Buy rabbits, feed them with the leaves. Take them out of this world and then cook them. Need a recipe?
