Morning!

I wondered if anyone had ever found a really deep lasagne dish? Anything up to a foot deep would not be considered excessive.

I'd just like to make a really deep lasagne with different clever layers.

Clever layering ideas welcome.

I hope if you succeed in this mission all Abers can expect an invitation?

I might have to make two if I invite everyone.

I don't know if this sort of thing is available really, but I just know that I could do with a giant lasagne every now and again.
mashed sausage meat with grated carrot, onion and garlic is delicious.
Idea stolen from a pasta recipe I use frequently. It must be good because I'm not over keen on pasta.
Sounds like you need a cattle trough!
I don't think you'll get one, what about getting as deep as one you can get then make walls inside it out of baking trays. Not sure it'd hold up mind :)
Make one with a topping and one without then place the one with topping on top of the other.
Just in case anyone is wondering about -- answer removed -- it was me.
It was intended to be a "tongue in cheek" reply based on many other threads I have read on Answerbank.
Obviously (to me now) "political correctness" is a very touchy subject outside of Australia, (we do try to be "PC" but we are a bit "laid back")
If anyone read my post before it was removed and was offended I apologise.
you could use a loaf tin, they're deep sided, it would be narrow but deep...
10zzy.
Then Oz sounds the place for me.I detest PC police in this country.Wish I had read your thread.
you could use the foil trays for cooking turkeys/chicken ,cut the bottom out of one and sit them on top of each other, you can get them in any good supermarket
a foot... who's coming over, Garfield?

Deepest I can find online is about 4 inches but you could maybe get a circular stewing pan to work

What about a terracotta planter? If you bought a brand new one and washed it really well it might do the trick.
I considered that idea buzz but did not know if it would stand up to the temperatures?
Best Answer for Buzznightmare.Brill suggestion.A real mediterranean touch to cooking.
Cook it in separate dishes and stack it post-cooking ...
The deeper you make it the harder it will be to serve up remotely neatly.
stack it?? Dear lord, I can't even get it out of one pan without it spreading all the way to Rutland.
I've never tried it but a quick look around online suggests it can be done. Just don't hold me responsible, Ed, if it explodes in your oven!

My lasagnes are always delicious but very sloppy. If I made one that deep I'd be serving it with a ladle.
