Apricot Brandy

My mum has had a bottle of Apricot Brandy in her cupboard about 20 years, it has been opened with one shot gone, I don't drink it myself so wouldn't know whether it was ok to drink, I wondered if anyone could tell me if it would go off over the years or get better with age.

This drink is likely to remain palatable for several decades, loss of alcohol being the only likely deterioration.
