As above we have kindly been given the vouchers to spend at Waitrose. Looking to buy us a treat to enjoy for New Years day dinner. Anything in particular that anyone recommends? I have never stepped foot in a Waitrose and they aren't exactly on our doorstep so am not familiar with their food. We will go and have a looksie after xmas but not really sure what we want to get.

Maybe we will just use it to buy a good joint of meat but didn't want to miss out if someone really swears by something they sell.

I noticed their Hestons orange hidden in a xmas pud but £10?! For a xmas pud?! Good grief, Thats a telling sign I'm from Yorkshire ;)

Any thoughts and ideas will be gratefully received :)

Their puds are wicked - treat yourself!
Their markdowns are fantastic, go on a Monday! The apple-strudel is unbelievable. They do have some good offers on beer at times.
Son sent us one for Xmas but it feeds 10 people, will have to invite the neighbours and he recommends Baileys Brandy Cream (Sainsburys) to go with it
Waitrose meat is expensive, best to treat yourself to a nice pud as mentioned above, or a bottle or two of prose co. Enjoy, you will probably be quite shocked at some of their prices !
Prosecco .....
Have a look at their paperback section, often some really good bargains.

Thank you all for your replies :)
Sounds like it will be the puddings then and some prosecco! We have our elderly neighbour coming for New years day so it will be nice to treat him too!
Their ready meals are good but a nice touch are their ready prepared cook at home meals. Some interesting recepies there.
