What are you cooking for Christmas dinner?
We've just had a meander around the supermarket and as none of us like turkey I decided we are having gammon this year.
Mr O is veggie and he is having one of those fake turkey Quorn rolls

Thanks x

I am glad it is not just me breaking with tradition
We are having Turkey but have just cooked a huge Ham to serve cold over Christmas as we have all our family over from Christmas Eve through to New Years Day so this will keep us going. Cooking Beef tomorrow. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Turkey, pheasant, beef or pork or beef and pork, pots 2 ways, pa's nips, a sprout or 3, carrots, mange tout and a pud with custard.

And then for dinner we're having.....
Turkey

I prefer goose though, the bigger the bird the better. Maybe not as big as this though: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SojuigwFvzo/TIR6jEwUcKI/AAAAAAAAAeI/fkUw8wymfPE/s1600/5.JPG

It's good to see you back, mrs_o. I hope the recuperation is going well.

We are going out for Christmas Dinner, so no cooking for me. If I was at home, and cooking, it would be a big leg of pork.
I will be hospital visiting on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as it is 'open' visiting hours. I was told "don't expect to be fed". As if I would eat the S h i t e that they call a balanced diet.

A huge lump of imported British beef. We live in a foie gras growing area where ducks and geese are dead common so beef will make a nice change.
Hey Mrs O

Roast chicken...because lil pasta loves it,and its a plavce to put all the stuffing...;-). I'm working on the day,so the simpler the better.
Where's that Jom?
Turkey and ham, but I might buy a beef as well, dunno yet.
Question Author
It seems very few so far are having Turkey
Rib Eye Steak for me.

Welcome back Mrs O ♥
I don't eat Lamb, Pork, Duck or Goose. I only like Chicken, Turkey and Beef and if I cooked anything but Turkey for Christmas lunch I would have a riot on my hands.
