Got 3 brood + 2 GF, Brother, SIL and baby, Hubby and myself, and a nice big sirloin of beef. Individual golden and crispy Yorkshire pudding, roasties and roast parnips, new boiled potatoes, carrots, tender-stem broccoli, cauliflower, and dwarf french beans. Fresh hot horeradish sauce and real rich beefy gravy.
For pudding there is a deep-dish traditional Bramley Apple pie, with custard, cream or ice cream,
Or sticky toffee pud with extra caramel sauce served with custard, cream or ice cream.
Mr Giggles, the baby will be having a new potato and some carrot with unsalted butter.
Nice wine or water with meal, Liqueur coffee's after

I'll probably be having a selection of fine alcoholic drinks, a pizza slice and some thai takeaway once these girls finish their makeup and let in into my own damned bathroom so we can get going to camden market, lol.
Not sure yet. I've got some wholemeal rolls, a tin of tuna and spring onions so maybe tuna roll with mayo.
Tiggerblue i'd "Pimp that up" by adding hot sauce and diced cucumber or gherkins!
I don't have any cucumber but I've got some sweet chilli sauce.
ham sandwiches, spikey, probably beef casserole later
Pork loin cooked in chopped tomato and onions with cous cous, maybe with sauerkraut or pickled cabbage. A lovely low calorie meal, maybe an apple after,

Thanks pips 1!

I will be roasting a Chicken with all the trimmings later,
we won't be eating 'til about 20:00.
Dunno, 'something tasty'.

One thing I did think, (bit of an aside), I see on here when lots of people do roasts they do both roast tatties AND boiled or mashed tatties, is that a regional thing or something? I seen lots of people do it but I could never understand having more than one sort of tattie on a plate.. I just wondered :c)
China Doll, I dont think its regional, more of a modern thing I think, Im quite happy to have roasties and boiled potato's on the plate, years ago it would have been unheard of I think.
A bacon roll with loads of gold star sauce. Singing along to Calamity Jane is a bit difficult with a mouthfull of bacon! Lol!

Ratter ChinaDoll - I was thinking the opposite, an old fashioned thing - we always have, it was a thing my mother did, I think it was a way of filling us up a cheaper way, they didn't do Yorkshire pudding in Ireland, but there was always a black cauldron of potatoes on the fire. Sshe came from a large famiy, 5 sisters and 9 brothers, made bigger by the death of her two eldest sisters and eldest brother, who were all married with families of their own, who came to live with her after the accident.

If you are interested, I'll tell you what happened
My dad often makes fry ups with different types of bread, soda, fried and crusty... I never understood that either... I'm probably not sophisticated enough to appreciate it innit :c)
oh lawdy, Iluv.
The sudden expansion of a family has an immediate effect.

We had a fry-up but not with soda bread,
chick kievs for dinner tonight.
crab salad, went to the local seafood stall to get a dressed crab but they only had tinned claw meat, thought it was a rip off, but paid the price, as one does to save looking a wally, damned tin seems bottomless, anyone want a crab salad?
Iluvspikey, tell us all about it!
