Why are the SBD printed so hard to see without glasses?
I hate having to get me glasses when in a shop just to read the SBD.

My mum used to hate wearing glasses. She'd peer at packaging, and ask "Why do they have to write so small?". "Mum, your looking at the bar code!"
Because they are not put there for you. They are for the supermarket so they can rotate their stock. properly. At one time in some shops they were coded so the customer would not know.
