I've made a cottage pie for tonight, but for something a bit different I've done mashed swede with the potatoes for topping. Carrots and some cabbage to serve. Then there's a baked egg custard with stewed plums and rhubarb for pud what are you having

Fanta chicken with rice
Grilled salmon with small stir-fry,followed by Semolina with peaches.

I think we might be eating out. I'm too busy to give this any thought at all and Mr BM will struggle to put something together with what little we have in at the moment.

Next time you do a cottage pie try topping it with mashed sweet potato and parsnips, it's really nice.
beef steak casserole followed by sugarfree jelly with fruit , as oh isnt allowed potatoes i make his cottage pie with carrot and swede topping (mashed)
roast chicken dinner ,with skin on chicken breasts , fruit to follow.
Liver and Bacon with a wholegrain mustard and red wine reduction. Herby potatoes and cauliflower cheese

OOOOOOOOOOOOOhh no Ethandron, I can't stand sweet potatoes or yams, and I love parsnips, and I love honey, but can't abide them together either!
Nothing special tonight. Bacon, black pudding, baked beans and mashed potato. Accompanied by some 'plonk' (Cotes du Rhone from a box.)

For 'sweet' Chocolate and more Plonk....It's a perfect combination.

Pork....hand reared from my brothers farm. Served with apples from my brothers orchard.

That's nice ummmm, my gran's got a Bramley apple tree in her garden in Ireland, she wraps them in newspaper and they keep well.
