Yes, they all sound lovely except for the sugared almonds, which I do not like. One of the most useless prizes I ever won, not that I have won many, was a box of sugared almonds, which remained in the pantry for ages before I managed to get rid of them by putting them on the coffee table for people to help themselves. Thank goodness other people liked them - I hate wasting things.

To be truthful Starbuckone, my sister-in-law bought them, she makes Wedding favours and such, I've got a feeling they were left over from an order...
Having put on a stone in the last couple of months (half of it during Xmas) I'll have give your offerings a miss.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
It all sounds lovely. We havent got any left overs cos we didnt buy any.
Economising is she iluvspikey? At least she is not wasting them. I hate waste in any form, although I realise recycling is not always possible.

Well dotty, you see I'd made some, hubby bought some and I won that hamper just before Christmas, that 's where this tin has come from. I'd got After 8 mints, but we had the Bendicks bittermint selection out of the hamper, the Meltis fruits I bought for my dad, but my mother had done the same and bought a box down too (he doesn't like chocolate you see) the Turkish Delight is from a neighbour, (too sweet for us) and the Baileys Dad bought not realising there are different flavours now.
Hate Turkish Delight. Hate shortbread. Hate sugared almonds.

I'll take the stuffing, please. £1.50?
I'll take the ham bone as I love to gnaw on meat and the Turkish Delight. Most of the rest I've also got leftover. I'll offer in return an unopened box of Lindt chocs, a baby Xmas pud and some Xmas themed Yankee candles?
it's been after eight twice a day since Christmas... You aren't even trying

The hambone is really meaty, there must be at least 2 and a 1/2-3lb of succulent lean ham on it - it weighed 16lb to start!
Feelin generous, have what you like - help yourselves, just found an unopened tin of Quality Street, my festive napkins with the holly on them and a box of crackers (good ones, 'prizes' inside are small silver plated photo frame, tool kit, bottle stopper, torch key ring, lipstick holder with mirror and a big pound sign keyring) they were in the shopping trolley under the stairs, I'd hunted high and low for them too!
The very thought of the Bailey's Biscotti has me wretching....
Question Author
chilldoubt - that's why it's unopened didn't appeal to any of us either!!
