low fat curry

Hi im goin out for a curry to celebrate my birthday tomorrow (birthdays on monday if u want to send gifts). however i am currently following a fitness plan and was wondering if anyone could suggest what currys are low fat or what combination would provide the least calories (less than 1000), i like any type of curry if that helps. thanks in advance :p

You should avoid anything with an oily/creamy sauce, Korma being one of the worst. Dry Tikka or Tandoori dishes are lowest in fat and calories.  If you want rice then opt for plain boiled rice and not pilau.

Naan bread is horrendously high in calories - about 550-600 calories for a restaurant size!

Oh it's your birthday!!!!  Come on!!! Live a little!!!  A day off from the diet is allowed!  Assuming it's a real fitness plan, then maybe just do an extra 10 minutes exercise for the next few sessions and lay off the birthday chocolates!

cheers i took your advice and had the lot, onion bhajies, nan bread, popadoms and jalfrezie. cheers acw, 21 tomorrow i feel so old lol :p

You just wait til you hit 22 hun!  21 is great - it's youthful maturity!  22 - it's getting a bit near mid 20s for my liking!! lol
