My sister is an avid gardener and as part of her birthday present, I went on amazon and bought unusual fruit and veg seeds. Purple carrots and deep purple cauliflowers, yellow, round, fat cucumbers and some yellow strawberries. Can't remember the rest, but they were all very different and worth a try.
yes blue potatoes.

wow yellow strawberries!!!
Carrots used to be purple back in the day.

Tired the blue spuds but didn't like them. The texture was not as nice.
There were some purple spring onions in a well-known supermarket last week, but I haven't tried them yet. (are we allowed to mention retailers names?)
I think we are so used to fruit, veg & food generally, being a certain wya & blue tends not to appeal
Blue potatoes just don't seem right.
