Was it cinnamon something?
Goodness, how the memory goes.  Cinnamon somethings...indeed.  I shall think of it in the still of the night.  When they first appeared they were lovely and were by a small (?) company, who also produced 'Golden Grahams', which I didn't like much.  The two were then produced (bought out?) by Nestle's and, boy, did the quality and size go down.  I didn't buy them after that, but before I couldn't get enough of them.  The cinnamon 'spots'  would be in the milk at the end and it was lovely to scoop that up to the last drop.  Could it have been 'Cinnamon Stars'?  I think they were rather star-shaped.  Maybe in the 80s.
was it cinammon grahams?

I know Golden Crackles were virtually the same, just more orangey coloured. Definitely not been on the shelves in the past 10 yrs or more.

I remember trying both GC and GG and thinking how nice they both were but not really understanding the point of both existing. I guess Kelloggs came to the same conclusion.

Cinnamon Grahams were just a different flavour. I believe they were around to start with but were introduced a while later. They couldn't have been what you were thinking of.
