My cat has just eaten the best part of a whole Rhubarb Activia yogurt - is this likely to do her any harm?

Your cat's clever, getting the lid off a yoghurt! (can't be much in a youghurt that would harm a cat though.)
It will probably give her the squits for a while but otherwise she'll be fine.
Nooo, the rhubard coming out will be interesting - but no, she'll be fine. Mine like creme fraiche, custard, all sorts.
I would think that it would be ok - maybe even good in keeping healthy bacteria in the gut! - I wait to be corrected, however.
No. Can you imagine the sh!te they eat when they rip binbags open when not being watched?

I caught my cat eating rennie's....
We had a cat who loved to lick the yoghurt tub lid. We now have a dog who likes prawns.
One of our cats adores yogurt and has some everytime we do, there again she also loves Chinese food particularly when I have chicken with cashews - she gets the chook I get the nuts! Another of our cats used to have a little dab of Chantilly cream when we had strawberries, he had it on his own saucer and "ate" it at the table with us (he had his own chair as well!) I shouldn't worry too much about her eating all that yogurt though I should think it should be a treat if she's to have it again and not an every day thing

sher, lol - OH had taken the lid off and put it down when he went to answer the phone, forgot about it and then when he remembered he found that the cat had scoffed most of it (apart from the stuff left on the table after she tipped it over). She is now sound asleep in the "in-tray" and looking pretty happy. She might have a busy night when the rhubarb kicks in!!

Thanks everybody - pets have some strange tastes - she normally doesn't go for people food much.

my mum's cat liked crisps and my brother's cat liked oranges - weird creatures!!

ummmm - lol - Maybe is should lay out some diocalm....
My cat likes spicy food. And he begs like a dog!
Haha...that might be why he ate the Rennie. I didn't think of that :-)

lol - i thought you were joking about the rennies! Apart from a penchant for porridge, Lucy doesn't normally do people food - she's been offered chicken, lamb, duck, trout etc and turns her nose up.....and all the time it was rhubarb she was after!
No 1 Son is partial to chicken curry (but you have to lick the curry off...)
Lol...no, I was serious. He'll eat anything if he thinks it 'our' food. Won't eat the same food if we put it in his bowl.

not when it's in a cat bowl i presume boxy?
We had a cat that loved carrots. If you left your dinner unattended he would "steal" them off your plate.
Question Author
Ummm, we have the opposite, apart from tonight with the yogurt she generally doesn't eat anything unless it is in her bowl
Question Author
carrots!!! - now that is strange...
No annie, you have to beg for it..... and talking to stealing, dear Rover thrust out a great furry paw tonight and stole a bit of pie-pastry off my plate, I've told him before about that. Last time it was cauliflower. He doesn't care what it is, it's on my plate so it's got to be worth testing!

Mind you - Black Spot ate two whole cooked broccoli florets the other evening...
