I need a heat resistant glue to repair the lid of my ceramic slow cooker. The knob has fallen off.

Two-part epoxy resin (eg Araldite)
Question Author
I do have some Araldite. Will it take the heat? I need to be certain as whatever I use will have to work first time.
Once set, as heat-resistant as it gets!

Thanks for that. Unless anyone else recommends something like what they stuck the tiles on the space shuttle I'll give it a go.
The two surfaces must be absolutely clean and grease-free of course. Perhaps ordering a new knob might be possible.
They used a silicone glue on the shuttle.

I used as gingejbee suggested, epoxy resin, and 2 years later the handle on my slow cooker's lid is still holding up.
But the speed dial button to Domino's is worn out?
I have just purchased a slow cooker, anyone any good recipes ? thanks
