We have home made steak, kidney & mushroom pie which I made at 6am today[ well we have a guest in our spare room so I dont have access to the computer until later on], I did cheat and use ready made pastry, jersey royal potatoes with mint, fresh peas, fresh runner beans & marrow. for desert a bowl of english cherries each .

oh that sounds lovely dee sa, apart from the marrow, ive never tried it so i dont know what its like.... nowt wrong with cheating on the pastry :)

we are having lamb stew.. no afters we never have any...
just had ours Dee, we had bacon sausage eggs, tinned tomatoes, hash browns, sounds breakfasty..:0) but it's what we both fancied and very nice it was too

lamb steaks, roasted peppers and onions, steamed mange tout and fine beans. all washed down with a nice bottle of giesta dao red wine....but i really fancy what bobbi had.

it was delish ethandron, we will probably have rhubarb pie and custard soon too
oooh i could just eat rhubarb crumble and custard! not had rhubarb for ages
oh bobbi, i just love rhubarb too, no-one else in this family likes it, can't remember the last time i had it. enjoy!
I made a couple of pies last week ethandron and froze them, never comes in wrong
Can't decide yet between hot or cold. I've been in the garden and dug up spuds, carrots, onions and courgettes. But I also have lettuces and radishes. Maybe hot dinner tonight as its chilly and hope its warmer tomorrow for salad bits. Looks like I'll have to keep hoping!
mmm what about a Rattattoui with those courgettes , maid up?
on TV last night, just before Eastenders - some chap on a cooking programme was making Rhubarb Crumble - he cut the rhubarb up and put it straight in the dish with the crumble on top - I always boil my rhubarb first - perhaps thats why mine tase sh!te.......(:o((
Bobbi - your own rhubarb - I'm going to start with some homemade tomato soup and crusty bread - then fried chicken and chips and then maybe some strawberry cheesecake. Start with a glass of cider then end with wine lol
hahaha DEN, I do for crumble, I don't like eating lumps, much rather it be mashed up
