My Mum used to make gorgeous cinnamon buns, unfortunately she died when I was 18 :-(
Creamola pudding
My Nan used to make the best omelette and chips. Never tasted one as good...

Beef dripping jelly on hot toast followed by bread pudding.
my mum was a wondeful cook/bake.

but at school i used to have this thing which was a pastry/tart base, with some jam, some pink blancmange type stuff on top and then sprinkled coconut flakes (or dinner ladies toenails we used to call them).

can't remember what it was called but i remember liking it. a lot.
Rice Cremola - they don't make it any more.
Tizer, when they took all the artificial flavourings and colourings out it just wasn't the same.

My mother was an able cook but I really can't think of anything she did that I would want to eat now and definitely not her lamb and pearl barley stew - yeughhh!
